Fiji vs Scotland prediction

Despite the fact that Scotland are missing eight big names for this Test match, due to their participation in the current Lions Tour, there is a sense of importance about this contest as Scotland are aiming to pick up as many ranking points as possible in order to gain a more favourable draw in December when the 2027 World Cup groups are decided.

Fiji, playing at home in Suva, are a physically intimidating side that will present a serious challenge to the weakened Scots. The Pacific islanders pushed Australia close last week in a narrow 21-18 defeat, with the Wallabies scoring late on to take the win.

Scotland, meanwhile, held on for a 29-26 victory over the Mauri All Blacks in New Zealand last week; they were on the back foot for large portions of the match but their clinical attacking combined with some impressive defensive resolve in the closing moments made the difference.

In front of their own crowd, Fiji will be up for this and we think they’ll use their physicality to grind out a win against a Scotland outfit missing some key players.
