Argentina vs England prediction

Argentina largely dominated their contest with Wales in San Juan last weekend, and in many ways the scoreline of 35-21 to the hosts actually flattered the visitors.

After their defeat to Scotland the week prior though, it was a strong response from the Pumas ahead of their third straight match against a British nation.

England had lost six successive matches heading into last weekend's contest with Fiji in Liverpool, but Steve Borthwick's side delivered the perfect tonic to that unwanted run with a 73-8 victory - their biggest ever win against the Pacific islanders.

England have a strong record against Argentina having won 15 of the last 16 meetings between them. However, many of those recent contests have been decided by fine margins, and with the hosts feeling inspired by their football counterparts, we can see this one going the way of the southern hemisphere side.
