Denmark vs Italy prediction

Denmark’s quarter-final hopes came to an end on Saturday after they were shut out 4-0 by Slovenia. With a seven-point gap between them and the top four and only two games left to play, the Danes are now out of contention for a knockout place. However, they can still finish bottom and be relegated so getting a win here is important.

Italy can still stay and would move level on points with Denmark by beating them in three periods. But this is an Italian side with just two goals to their name across five games and such an anaemic offense isn’t going to cut it against this Danish team. Any outcome other than Denmark winning would be a surprise.
