Gerwyn Price was simply unstoppable last week with three ton-plus averages – his 115.97 against Chris Dobey the highest in the Premier League since 2017 – taking him to victory in Birmingham for his fourth night win of this year’s competition. The Welshman is now just two points behind Michael van Gerwen at the top of the table and he is undoubtedly the man to beat at the moment. Those two could well contest the final in Rotterdam, with Price predicted to defy the Dutch crowd and secure another five points.
