Kurtis Campbell: Can "The Pink Panther" maintain his undefeated record and score a UFC contract?

A decorated amateur prior to turning professional, undefeated featherweight Kurtis Campbell (7-0) is one of the UK's most exciting prospects. A born entertainer from his in-fight showboating and trademark pink shorts to his relentlessly aggressive fight style, "The Pink Panther" never stops hunting the finish, a state of affairs evidenced by five stoppages in seven professional fights. More importantly, he's beaten decent levels of competition in UK promotion FCC throughout his career to date, taking out a number of fellow undefeated prospects in the process.

Demba Seck: "Black Tiger" looks to score the upset and earn his ticket to the big leagues

With eight stoppages in ten professional victories, Demba Seck (10-2) arrives on the Contender Series off the back off a seven fight win streak. Seck looks to be an incredibly aggressive striker, throwing everything with murderous intentions as he charges after his opponents. A late starter in the sport, "Black Tiger" isn't exactly a raw prospect at 31, but he looks to be on an absolute tear as of late. With that being said, his record doesn't necessarily make for the prettiest reading; Seck's best win is arguably over the 8-6-1 Vince Bembe.

Kurtis Campbell vs Demba Seck prediction

Many a promising British standout has faltered under the bright lights of the Contender Series but everything about "The Pink Panther" and his fight style indicates that he will not be one of them.

At just 23, the charismatic Scouser appears to be improving with every fight. He's fought some really decent levels of competition and more often than not, tends to style on them as well. The heavy handed Seck is clearly dangerous but his record is also littered with outmatched and underwhelming levels of competition; three of his wins are against fighters with losing records.

Campbell is a seriously good prospect with legitimate finishing potential and Seck has yet to face, let alone defeat, a fighter of the Scouser's quality. Even if he doesn't find the stoppage over "Black Tiger", the pick is for "The Pink Panther" to outclass his opponent across three rounds to earn the decision.

Prediction: Kurtis Campbell to win
