Czechia vs Switzerland Prediction

The pair traded a game each in this stage of the tournament last year, although whilst Switzerland overcame Czechia via shootout following a 3-3 tie after overtime, the latter won 4-2 without the need for any extra hockey. There are a number of players among the Czechia squad who featured heavily last year, such as Matej Mastalirsky and Adam Zidlicky.

This should work in Czechia’s favour with those returning names knowing what it takes to compete well in the competition and make it to the latter stages. The defence looks good as well, with LA Kings prospect Jakub Dvorak among their ranks. In the end, Czechia should prove too strong for Switzerland in their first group match.
