BANGLADESH

• Bangladesh are without victory so far across this tri-nation series, losing once against both Pakistan and New Zealand and most worryingly not looking at any stage like they were capable of going onto win.
• A three-day break to reflect and work on their deficiencies has come at a good time for the Tigers and they’ll be hoping to come out of the traps strongly in this one, with a good collective performance with the bat vital to give them any chance of success.

THE PREDICTION

Whilst Bangladesh do contain a number of very good players among their ranks, the team as a whole does not boast the quality in-depth of a side like New Zealand and this is why they understandably come into this one as underdogs once again. The Black Caps have really hit their straps of late, combining top order runs with accurate bowling, making it extremely hard for opponents to hit them away for boundaries. The vast experience of the New Zealand squad playing in home conditions only adds to their formidability. With that in mind, expect another victory here for the Kiwis.
