THE PREDICTION

Western Australia have enjoyed a fine start to their Marsh One-Day-Cup campaign, winning three of their four games played to pull well clear at the top of the table with 13 points. Tasmania will be hoping to stop them in their tracks when they welcome Ashton Turner’s side to Hobart. Whilst Western Australia may not have all-rounder Cameron Green within their ranks should he have already departed for his international commitments, they still boast a formidable batting line-up full of players capable of racking up big scores such as Cameron Bancroft, Josh Phillipe and D’Arcy Short to name just three. Such firepower cannot be matched by Tasmania, who were bowled out for just 131 by Queensland in their most recent Marsh One-Day-Cup match and with that in mind, backing Western Australia to triumph again appears the sensible move.
