Canada vs Finland prediction
Canada, with the prospective number one pick in the 2026 NHL draft Gavin McKenna a focal point of their offense were absolutely cooking against Denmark in their most recent group game. A far superior side, Canada thrashed the Danes by nine goals to one and cemented their place at the top of Group B. However, Finland can go above them with victory here, although they are coming off the back of an agonising overtime defeat at the hands of Czechia.
Finland’s backline will make things tough for McKenna and co but this Canadian side are starting to really find their feet and it would be no surprise to see them finish strongly ahead of the quarter-finals. Expect a close game but for Canada to ultimately win out over the course of three periods.
Canada vs Finland tip: Canada to win
