Cameron Norrie vs Alex Michelsen Prediction

Cam Norrie is playing with good confidence right now and the Brit was in good form on Wednesday as he eliminated ninth-seed Arthur Rinderknech 7-6 6-2.

Norrie now faces Alex Michelsen for a second consecutive week after the pair met in the first round in Dallas last week. That was a really close-fought encounter which Norrie won 2-6 7-6 6-1 but it came down to the key moments and the experienced Norrie just had the edge in those.

It was Norrie who adapted best in game to take control of that match and now the onus will be on Michelsen to try do something different as they meet just 10 days later.

Michelsen was set down to Michael Mmoh in the round of 16 before his opponent had to retire through injury so that was somewhat fortuitous. All the questions coming into this game are around Michelsen and how he can pose different challenges to Norrie here.
