Blackburn vs Coventry prediction

Michael O’Neill has juggled the Blackburn and Northern Ireland jobs in the last couple of months and the Lancastrians are edging their way clear to safety in the Championship. Blackburn shared a 1-1 draw with Stoke City last weekend to extend their unbeaten run of form to five matches ahead of their clash with Southampton in midweek.

Coventry begin the weekend needing just a point to secure their promotion back to the top-flight. They couldn’t have achieved promotion last season as they were held to a shock and almost comical goalless draw with a Sheffield Wednesday side that remain on minus points in a very Championship result.

Coventry, pressure off and aiming to win the league title, should get themselves over the line here, albeit a stubborn O’Neill-led Rovers may not allow it to be a thriller.

Blackburn vs Coventry tip: Coventry to win & under 3.5 goals
