That thrilling draw for Real Sociedad is indicative of just how attacking and entertaining the Basque outfit have become since the appointment of Matarazzo. Atleti are no longer the embodiment of the so-called ‘Cholismo’ with heavy spending leading to a much more proactive and entertaining style of play that is ideally suited for chaotic cup ties.
