Andrey Rublev vs Alex de Minaur Prediction

Fifth seed Andrey Rublev comes off a 6-3 6-4 win over Nuno Borges; an identical scoreline to his first-round win over Alexander Bublik on Tuesday. His serve has been firing nicely so far this week and he will hope that continues.

Second seed Alex de Minaur has had a comfortable path to the quarters having beaten both Roman Safiullin and then Botic van de Zandschulp in straight sets. He won both matches in spite of a first serve percentage of 56% in his first-round match and 49% last time out so he will know he has to serve better in this crunch clash.

The pair have met seven times before and it is De Minaur who just shades it 4-3. De Minaur can also point to the better form in 2025 so far as he is playing as well as anybody not named Jannik Sinner.

He comes in as the fair favourite but Rublev’s serve is looking good this week. It would not surprise us if Rublev pushes De Minaur all the way here. We do think either player will run away with it so while we marginally edge the Australian, consider game betting in this one.
