Zrinjski Mostar defeated Sammarinese champions Virtus in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League before a loss to Slovan Bratislava. They then defeated Breidablik in the UEFA Europa League before being knocked into the league phase of this competition due to a loss to Dutch outfit Utrecht in the UEL playoffs.
They now face a Lincoln Red Imps side that are the dominant force of Gibraltarian football and they have played in the group stage of this competition. The Imps managed to produce a surprise victory against Northern Irish side Larne in the playoff round of this competition.
The Lincoln Red Imps will believe they can get results when at home under the rock of Gibraltar but both of these sides lack quality and a low-scoring affair is therefore to be expected in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
