Zimbru vs Astana prediction

Zimbru Chisinau come into this one on the back of a surprise and entertaining 3-2 defeat of Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova at the weekend, though that followed a start of two victories, two defeats and a draw in their opening four matches. Astana are currently sitting at the top-of-the-table above Kairat on goal difference domestically.

The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie at Astana Arena in Kazakhstan last week, Astana and Zimbru Chisinau shared a 1-1 draw. Zimbru took a first-half stoppage-time lead via Guy Dahan in that game, before Astana equalised via Ivan Basic in the 56th minute.

This could well be an upset with Zimbru now seemingly the favourites to knock out one-time UEFA Champions League qualifiers Astana, with their home advantage at scores level.

Zimbru vs Astana tip: Double chance – Zimbru to win or draw
