Zimbabwe vs Burkina Faso prediction

The Zimbabweans, coached by former Israel U21 and Kosovo U21 boss Michael Nees, are currently ranked 116th in the world by FIFA. The so-called ‘Warriors’ come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw with Nigeria in their most recent outing, scoring a 90th minute equaliser via Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Tawanda Chirewa.

They now face a Burkina Faso side that most recently defeated Guinea-Bissau by two goals to one at Estadio Nacional 24 de Setembro in CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup a couple of months ago, courtesy of a brace scored by Lassina Traore. They have now suffered just one loss in their last nine matches.

Both of these sides appear to be moving in a positive direction so it may end up being quite a proactive game stylistically, whereby both teams scoring would seem a good bet.

Zimbabwe vs Burkina Faso tip: Both teams to score
