Zimbabwe vs Australia prediction

Despite the changes in Australia’s ODI team, specifically the loss of Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell, they remain a team capable of big runs when you look at their batting order. Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head strike fear into any opposition in white ball cricket, while Cooper Connolly has made a very promising start to 50-over cricket at international level.

Zimbabwe are not at their strongest ahead of this series. They’re without both Tanaka Chivanga and Richard Ngarava, a significant blow to their bowling unit, which is notable when you consider that Australian top order. Blessing Muzarabani will be absolutely pivotal and needs to take wickets to give Zimbabwe the best possible chance of an upset.

Ultimately though, Australia are worth backing to win and Marsh at the top of the order could have a big part to play. Back him to accrue at least 30 runs in the opening ODI.

Zimbabwe vs Australia tip: Australia to win and Mitchell Marsh to score 30+ runs
