Zilina vs Rakow prediction
The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie, MSK Zilina suffered a 3-0 loss to Rakow Czestochowa at the Miejski Stadion Pilkarski Rakow in Poland last week. An own goal from Lubomir Belko gave Rakow the lead before a Jonatan Braut Brunes penalty and then a Lamine Diaby-Fadiga completed the rout, with Jan Minarik also sent off for Zilina mid-way through the second-half.
Zilina finished second in the Slovak First Football League in the 2024/25 campaign, whilst Rakow, who won the Polish Ekstraklasa in the 2023/24 season, finished as runners’ up to Lech Poznan last year, finishing a point behind Lech at the top.
Zilina will believe they have a bit of a chance to cause a stir in the second-leg in Slovakia, but that should allow space on the counter for Rakow this week.
