Zambia vs Sudan prediction

The Zambians come into this one on the back of a 5-0 annihilation at the hands of Russia at the VTB Arena in Moscow in an international friendly during the March international break. That did come on the back of a five-match unbeaten run of form to qualify for the 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations, under the management of former Chelsea boss Avram Grant.

Sudan, who are coached by former Ghana boss James Kwesi Appiah, sit third in Group B of CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup but they sit just a point behind group stage leaders the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Sudanese recently held Senegal to a goalless draw before a frustrating 1-1 draw against South Sudan a few days’ later.

Grant, naturally, has created quite a defensive and limited Zambian side, whilst Sudan have achieved relative success through their own defensive ability so a low-scoring affair seems likely.

Zambia vs Sudan tip: Under 2.5 goals
