Zalgiris Vilnius come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat of Banga, when down to ten men, in their most recent outing in the Lithuanian A Lyga. They have majorly underperformed in the Lithuanian top-flight this season as they sit sixth in the 2025 ten-team table after 19 matches.

They now face a Hamrun Spartans side that hadn’t won the Maltese league for 20 years until they won it in the 2020/21 season and they have now won four of the last five league titles. They have only ever won four European ties in their history out of a total of 18 ties across all competitions.

Zalgiris should be fresher as they are in the middle of their season but they aren’t playing well so siding with the Maltese visitors may well be a good value bet for this one.
