Young Boys vs Lyon prediction

Young Boys have endured a shoddy campaign thus far and the Swiss outfit returned from the winter break with a 3-1 defeat at home to Lausanne Sport in the Swiss Super League. They are just inside the top 24 in the league phase with three victories and three defeats from their six matches.

They now face a Lyon side that, under the management of Paulo Fonseca, sit just above Midtjylland and Aston Villa on goal difference at the top of the 36-team table. Lyon most recently defeated Stade Brest by two goals to one at Parc OL at the weekend to mean that they are now on a six-match winning streak across all competitions.

Despite the fact that they are away from home and playing on a plastic pitch, which could be awkward, Lyon have to be viewed as the firm favourites to win in Switzerland.

Young Boys vs Lyon tip: Lyon to win
