Wycombe vs Stockport prediction

Wycombe Wanderers come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat to newly-promoted Bradford City in their most recent outing at Valley Parade last weekend. The Chairboys had been top-of-the-table mid-way through last season before collapsing under Dodds, following Matt Bloomfield’s departure to Luton Town.

Stockport County are one of the pre-season title favourites this season and the Hatters are aiming to go better than their play-off semi-final exit last season. They began their campaign in impressive fashion at Edgeley Park last weekend, as they defeated Bolton Wanderers by two goals to nil with strikes from Malik Mothersille and Kyle Wootton.

Wycombe will want to continue to play an impressive and attacking style, but Stockport simply appear a more refined and serious title challenger in League One this season.
