Wrexham vs Reading prediction

Wrexham are a team to watch in this competition, especially when considering the League Cup pedigree of their manager. Back when Bradford City were a League Two side, Phil Parkinson guided them all the way to the final in the 2012-13 campaign and has masterminded plenty of memorable cup upsets down the years in English football whether it be in the League Cup or FA Cup and would love to guide Wrexham to the final this year.

So far, the Red Dragons have beaten both Hull City and Preston with Reading up next. Clearly the club would love the fairy-tale story that comes with a deep cup run and whilst there are question marks regarding Wrexham defensively, their attacking firepower should see them overwhelm the League One Royals and advance through to the fourth round.
