Under the management of Phil Parkinson, Wrexham are just five points adrift of the top six and the playoff places in the Championship. The Red Dragons managed to overcome Sheffield United by five goals to three at the Racecourse Ground on Boxing Day, with Kieffer Moore starring by notching a brace.
Preston North End have been much-improved so far this season as they begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top six and the playoff places. The Lancastrians have been frustrated by draws of late, though, with another stalemate against Stoke City the other day.
Preston struggle for fluency in the final third and a low-scoring encounter is to be expected between Phil Parkinson and Paul Heckingbottom teams.
