Wrexham vs Bristol Rovers prediction

Wrexham, after a few years of their entertaining and high octane, high-scoring Hollywood style of football, the hosts have turned themselves more into a typically defensive and grinding it out Phil Parkinson machine. They shared a frustrating goalless draw with Wigan Athletic last weekend to mean they have now kept eight clean sheets in their last ten matches.

They face a Bristol Rovers side that, with former Brighton and Hove Albion defender Inigo Calderon at the helm, have had some big results at home of late but they have now slipped into the bottom four and the relegation places with five successive defeats ahead of this one. They also have the worst away record in League One with just eight points collected in 21 matches.

Wrexham aren’t convincing many going forward at the moment but it would be a major surprise to see them concede here, let alone fail to pick up a vital three points in north Wales.
