Wolfsburg vs OL Lyonnes prediction

Two-time champions Wolfsburg find themselves in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League once again after they came through their knockout phase play-off tie with Juventus 4-2 on aggregate.

The German outfit, who finished ninth in the league phase, have lost just once in 2026, and have won their last four domestic matches heading into this first leg.

The most successful side in the history of this competition, OL Lyonnes qualified directly for the last eight courtesy of an unbeaten league phase campaign that saw them finish second in the table. That included a 3-1 win over their quarter-final opponents Wolfsburg on Matchday 3 - their eighth victory in 11 previous meetings between the two sides.

It's been a hugely impressive season so far for OL, who haven't lost a match in any competition since April last year. They have the edge over Wolfsburg in all departments, and even though this first leg is taking place in Germany, we're expecting the French visitors to be leading at the end of both halves.
