Wolfsburg preview: On the edge

A terrible run of results midweek has left Wolfsburg floundering and another defeat here could leave them inside the bottom three come the weekend’s conclusion. That victory makes it three wins in four games for Manuel Baum’s side, which has helped guide them well away from relegation danger and firmly into midtable.

There is a lot more pressure on Wolfsburg compared to their opponents heading into this game. Results have been bad and the pressure is building as supporters begin to lose patience. Expect a very attacking gameplan from the hosts as they look to get the crowd on their side early on by pushing forward in an attempt to overload their opponents.
