Wigan vs Port Vale prediction

The pressure is growing on Ryan Lowe after a bright start to the season in League One has since been majorly undermined. The Latics’ 4-1 defeat to local rivals Bolton Wanderers has begun what is now a six-match winless run of form across all competitions.

They face a Port Vale side that, under the management of Darren Moore, started badly despite positive underlying data, and they have now majorly improved following their promotion from League Two last season. The Valiants most recently shared a 1-1 draw with high-flying AFC Wimbledon last weekend.

Given the form of the two sides, it would appear to be a very good value bet to side with Port Vale in Wigan this weekend.

Wigan vs Port Vale tip: Double chance – Port Vale to win or draw
