West Indies vs Sri Lanka prediction
In the opening match of their ODI series, Sri Lanka won comfortably at Sabina Park. Posting a score of 303-7 in their 50 overs with 70+ scores from Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis before the Windies were bowled out for 262 in 49.2 overs, with 4-67 taken by seamer Dushmantha Chameera. The second ODI was then a wash out in Jamaica.
West Indies have endured a tough start to 2026, knocked out in the Super 8’s of the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup earlier this year, while the Sri Lankans also failed to make it into the semi-finals of that World Cup that they co-hosted.
Sri Lanka have a strong side in white-ball cricket and will believe that, even in another likely rain-affected clash, should complete a series win in the Caribbean this week.
