West Indies vs Pakistan prediction

The injection of experience and quality batters into the Pakistan line-up for this ODI series paid dividends in match one as the tourists managed to chase down 281 with five wickets and seven balls remaining after bowling out West Indies with an over to spare in the first innings. Half-centuries from Mohammad Rizwan and Hasan Nawaz were key to victory, as was Shaheen Shah Afridi’s four-wicket-haul.

Now the onus is on the Windies to bounce back less than a day later, but that won’t be easy against a Pakistan bowling attack with such speed and accuracy, not to mention a batting line-up with the sort of depth that suits a 50-over encounter. When comparing the two teams, Pakistan just looks better from a batting point of view, so back them to double their series lead.

West Indies vs Pakistan tip: Pakistan to win
