This is a London derby that may have more riding on it than a normal FA Cup third round tie as West Ham United take on Queens Park Rangers at the London Stadium.

West Ham vs QPR prediction

Nuno Espirito Santo is still in charge at the London Stadium, despite West Ham United now being seven points adrift of safety in the bottom three and the relegation places in the Premier League. The Hammers suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest in midweek, having been ahead in that game at half-time.

Queens Park Rangers have been quite fun to watch in the Championship this season, with a lot of talent in the final third under the management of former Stade Rennais boss Julien Stephan. QPR most recently hammered Sheffield Wednesday by three goals to nil at Loftus Road last weekend.

Given how poor their Premier League season has been, simply prioritising that and writing this off is a fairly expected outcome for West Ham. It may not be great for Nuno’s job prospects but backing a QPR win seems a value bet here. QPR are fun to watch and West Ham will have the pressure of an angered home crowd but they are hapless at the moment.
