Graham Potter’s West Ham showed some encouraging signs against Aston Villa at the weekend in the third round of the FA Cup. They took an early lead via Lucas Paqueta before eventually suffering a controversial 2-1 loss to Villa Park. The Hammers need to string some results together to save a season drifting into inertia. They now face a Fulham side that hammered Watford by four goals to one at the weekend and the Cottagers are now unbeaten in nine matches across all competitions. They are a well oiled machine and are expected to be potent in east London, albeit West Ham will likely feel a new manager bounce, especially with their home advantage.
