West Ham Team News: New injuries in attack

Ahead of his first league game in charge of the hosts, Graham Potter has had to deal with a fresh attacking injury as Germany international Niclas Fullkrug will now be out for a while due to a 'significant injury'.

As well as the absence of Fullkrug, club captain Jarrod Bowen remains sidelined alongside Michail Antonio, whilst winger Crysencio Summerville has been described as 'touch and go' for this week.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kilman, Emerson; Soucek, Alvarez; Paqueta, Soler, Kudus; Guilherme

Unavailable: Todibo (Injured), Bowen (Injured), Antonio (Injured), Fullkrug (Injured)

Questionable: Summerville (Injured)

Fulham Team News: Muniz a doubt

Amid interest in Andreas Pereira from Brazil, and therefore doubts over his availability for this one as a result, Fulham are dealing with a fresh injury concern as striker Rodrigo Muniz is now a doubt for the Cottagers.

Norway international Sander Berge has returned to training over the weekend but they remain without key men on the flanks as full-back Kenny Tete is missing alongside on-loan winger Reiss Nelson.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Leno; Andersen, Diop, Bassey; Castagne, Pereira, Lukic, Robinson; Smith Rowe, Wilson; Jimenez

Unavailable: Tete (Injured), Nelson (Injured)

Questionable: Muniz (Injured)

West Ham vs Fulham Prediction

Graham Potter’s West Ham showed some encouraging signs against Aston Villa at the weekend in the third round of the FA Cup. They took an early lead via Lucas Paqueta before eventually suffering a controversial 2-1 loss to Villa Park. The Hammers need to string some results together to save a season drifting into inertia. They now face a Fulham side that hammered Watford by four goals to one at the weekend and the Cottagers are now unbeaten in nine matches across all competitions. They are a well oiled machine and are expected to be potent in east London, albeit West Ham will likely feel a new manager bounce, especially with their home advantage.
