West Brom vs Preston prediction

Coached by rookie manager Ryan Mason, West Bromwich Albion were excellent in the first stage of the campaign but the Baggies have now managed just one win in their last five matches between the September international break and then the October international break.

Preston North End, with former Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom at the helm, most recently eased past Charlton Athletic by two goals to nil at Deepdale a fortnight ago. That means they have suffered just one defeat in their nine matches so far as they sit tucked into the top six.

These are two sides with a lack of goals with two cautious styles of football attempting to push for promotion and so a low-scoring encounter is to be expected.

West Brom vs Preston tip: Under 2.5 goals
