Watford vs Wrexham prediction

Wrexham deserve huge credit for the way they responded after going down 1-2 against Hull City, getting straight back to winning ways with a gritty 2-0 victory over Swansea City in an important Welsh derby that keeps them inside the top six. Watford sit eight points behind them in 10th-place, so this is realistically a must-win game for them if they are to harbour hopes of a late play-off push.

With that in mind, expect the Hornets to really put Wrexham under pressure with extra bodies roaming forward as much as possible, particularly out wise. But whilst this may lead to opportunities, it also opens the door for the visitors at the other end and Wrexham are extremely strong on the counter-attack. Backing both teams to score feels like a sensible play in this one.

Watford vs Wrexham tip: Both teams to score
