Ipswich Town have slipped back adrift on the top two following a run of just one win in their most recent four league matches, including defeat most recently away to Wrexham in a chaotic affair.
They lost that one 5-3 and the Tractor Boys have not convinced recently from a defensive standpoint despite boasting quality offensive players capable of grabbing them goals at this level. As the home side, Watford should take the game to Ipswich and with a draw hardly ideal for either team, an open contest could be on the cards with both teams to score a play worth making.
