Ipswich Town must get back to winning ways if they are to put any pressure on the top two and they travel to a Watford side still with an outside shot of a play-off place.

Watford vs Ipswich Town prediction

Watford have lost just one of their last four games, steady progress as they try to edge themselves back towards the top six. Ipswich Town have slipped back adrift on the top two following a run of just one win in their most recent four league matches, including defeat most recently away to Wrexham in a chaotic affair.

They lost that one 5-3 and the Tractor Boys have not convinced recently from a defensive standpoint despite boasting quality offensive players capable of grabbing them goals at this level. As the home side, Watford should take the game to Ipswich and with a draw hardly ideal for either team, an open contest could be on the cards with both teams to score a play worth making.
