Warrington Wolves vs Catalans Dragons prediction
Warrington Wolves and Catalan Dragons meet on Thursday night and Sam Burgess’ men will be desperate to bounce back from a heavy loss at the hands of the Leeds Rhinos last time out.
That 34-6 loss at home to the league leaders will have frustrated Burgess as his men had no answer defensively to the Rhinos’ creativity and the power of Maika Sivo.
Prior to that loss, they had been in fine form with four successive wins and they will look to get back on track here.
They still have a number of players out injured but Sam Burgess will be demanding a big improvement.
The French outfit make the trip over after a trio of home matches saw them win their last two. They sit in a solid mid-table position and that just about sums them up.
They have done a good job against some of the poorer teams in the division but are found wanting when coming up against the top teams.
They can take confidence from the fact they beat Warrington on home soil in April but that will likely serve as motivation for Burgess’ men.
We expect them to make a strong start to this match and ultimately get the win. Rather than the handicap, we prefer the home side to be winning at half-time and full-time.
