Wales vs New Zealand prediction

A last-gasp penalty from Jarrod Evans handed Wales a dramatic 24-23 victory over Japan in Cardiff last weekend, securing a top-12 seeding for the Rugby World Cup draw in the process.

The fact remains though, that Japan are the only side Wales have beaten in their last 21 Test matches, and they are now tasked with recording a first win over New Zealand since 1953. They have lost the last 33 matches against the Kiwis, and then of their last 11 matches in Cardiff.

After wins over both Ireland and Scotland, New Zealand were hoping for a clean sweep of the 'Home Nations' but England had other ideas last weekend, with the Red Roses running out 33-19 winners at the Allianz Stadium.

Head coach Scott Robertson has made 12 changes for what is their final Test of the year, and they can be expected to take the game to a Wales side are still struggling in a number of areas.

While it was an important victory for Wales last weekend and a first under Steve Tandy, they are likely be taught a harsh lesson by the visitors.
