Wales vs Fiji prediction

It’s been a tournament to forget so far for Wales, who have scored just eight points – all of those coming in their opener against Scotland – across their two Pool B encounters.

Sean Lynn’s side failed to land a single point against Canada last weekend, losing 42-0 to the second seeds in Salford.

Fiji have also lost both games but gave a decent account of themselves last weekend against Scotland, losing 29-15 in a contest that contained plenty of positives for the Pacific islanders.

Fiji’s physicality is their greatest strength, and against a Wales side lacking both confidence and chemistry, they look capable of upsetting the odds here and earning a morale-boosting victory to sign off what is only their second Women’s Rugby World Cup campaign.
