Wakefield Trinity Team News: Two changes made

Boss Daryl Powell has added both Noah High and Ky Rodwell to his squad for this game, removing Matty Russell and Lachlan Walmsley in the only two changes made to the Wakefield Trinity 21.

Hull KR Team News: Gildart could play a part

Having returned to the Hull KR squad following an injury that has kept him out since Magic Weekend, Oliver Gildart could be given minutes on the pitch here by Willie Peters. Joe Burgess is also fit enough to be named in the squad but whether he features is another matter.

Squad: Tom Davies, Peta Hiku, Oliver Gildart, Joe Burgess, Mikey Lewis, Tyrone May, Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Dean Hadley, James Batchelor, Elliot Minchella, Sam Luckley, Jai Whitbread, Jack Broadbent, Kelepi Tanginoa, Jack Brown, Eribe Doro, Bill Leyland, Arthur Mourgue, Noah Booth

Wakefield Trinity vs Hull KR Prediction

If Hull KR continue to perform here as well as they have virtually all season, then the League Leaders Shield will be theirs. They’ve won 21 of 25 games in Super League and one more will see them take an unassailable lead at the top of the table, assuming Wigan Warriors cut the gap to two points the night before. If the Warriors lose vs Castleford Tigers, Hull KR will be champions before kick-off here.

Either way, expect Hull KR to wind up far too good for Wakefield Trinity, who should not be able to compete with the offensive play that Willie Peters’ side will come out with over the course of 80 minutes. Back an away win in this match.
