Leeds Rhinos were stunned by Castleford Tigers last weekend as they gave up a 16-point-lead to lose in dramatic fashion. The Rhinos defence fell apart and head coach Brad Arthur will have no doubt been furious. Whilst Leeds are such a good team when it comes to offense with Maika Sivo and co leading the charge, unless they clean things up defensively, they may well get pipped to the League Leaders Shield.
Expect to see a strong reaction against a Bradford Bulls side who they defeated 50-16 earlier in July. The visiting side have lost five of their last six with the only victory coming against rock bottom Huddersfield Giants. Giving up over 25 points in each of those defeats has been pivotal and it’s hard to see them being able to compete on the home turf of what should be a locked in Rhinos.
The likelihood is that Leeds will grab control of this game early on, establish a lead and keep on adding to it, so it’s worth backing the hosts to be leading not only at the final hooter, but also at half time.
