So far, it’s Wigan Warriors who leads the head-to-head record over St. Helens in all competitions so far this season. After falling victim to a stunning Saints comeback at BrewDog Stadium earlier in the campaign, Matt Peet’s side have since beaten their fierce rivals twice, nilling them in the Challenge Cup semi-finals before edging a Super League nailbiter 16-14 at the Brick Community Stadium earlier in July.
This is a really big game for both teams as Wigan look to move level on points with Leeds Rhinos and keep Wakefield Trinity at bay, whilst St. Helens need the win to put some pressure on the top four.
