Wakefield Trinity vs Hull FC prediction

Hull FC came out the wrong end of a barnstorming encounter against York Knights last time out, making it back-to-back defeats for John Cartwright’s side. Wakefield Trinity meanwhile, lost out by 27 points to 16 away at Warrington Wolves and now finding themselves needing to respond positively by winning their following match as they did vs Huddersfield Giants in a nail-biter.

Key for Wakefield is that this squad knows how to hold their nerve in a close game, which they’ll need to do again to get the points against an under-performing but still a strong visiting side. It’s hard to separate these two teams and a close battle should be in order. However, the smart move would be to back the hosts over Hull FC.
