Villarreal vs Juventus prediction

It has been a bright start to the campaign for Villarreal, but Marcelino’s Yellow Submarine were undermined by a frustrating performance against Tottenham Hotspur in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League, with the now dropped Luiz Junior scoring a fourth minute own goal to decider their opener.

Juventus have become a lot more entertaining to watch this season and that was shown in their opening game of this competition a couple of weeks ago at the J Stadium in Turin as the Old Lady had to fight back from 4-2 down with two second-half stoppage-time goals to earn a 4-4 draw against Borussia Dortmund.

Juventus will head to Castellon looking to again exert their immense attacking quality, but Villarreal would have to be viewed as a team that can give more than as good as they get.

Villarreal vs Juventus Tip: Over 2.5 goals
