Viktoria Plzen were unbeaten in the UEFA Europa League before a frustrating loss to Manchester United last month. They now face an Anderlecht side that do indeed remain unbeaten.

Viktoria Plzen vs Anderlecht Prediction

Viktoria Plzen begin the seventh match day of the UEFA Europa League campaign sitting two points clear of 25th placed Braga as they now face a high-flying Anderlecht side in Czechia.

Viktoria took the lead against United in that aforementioned defeat last month in a game that followed them beginning their UEL league phase with two victories and three draws in their opening five matches. The hosts sit second in the Czech First League, seven points adrift of runaway league leaders Slavia Prague domestically.

Anderlecht, coached by David Hubert, are fourth in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, which is a little underwhelming, but begin the seventh match day of the UEL campaign sitting third behind Lazio and Athletic Club with four victories and two defeats in six matches, most recently defeating Slavia Prague by two goals to one in Czechia last month.

Viktoria will fancy their chances of more or less securing a top 24 spot with their home advantage but this is an Anderlecht side that are very stubborn and difficult to beat so a low scoring affair seems quite likely for this one in Plzen.

Viktoria Plzen vs Anderlecht Tip: Under 3.5 goals
