Viking vs Istanbul Basaksehir prediction

Viking, who sit at the top-of-the-table in the 2025 Eliteserien campaign after 18 matches, hammered Slovenian side Koper in the second qualifying round. They won by seven goals to nil at home before a thrilling 5-3 victory in Slovenia to complete 12-3 aggregate victory last week.

They now face an Istanbul Basaksehir that have underwhelmed in UEFA competition for a couple of seasons. The Turks did manage to overcome Bulgarian side Cherno More in the previous round last month. After winning by a goal to nil in the first-leg away from home, they then won by four goals to nil in Istanbul.

These are two strong sides that will seek to play on the front foot this week, so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one in Norway this midweek.

Viking vs Istanbul Basaksehir tip: Both teams to score
