Vancouver FC vs Cruz Azul prediction
Vancouver FC managed to finish as runners’ up in the 2025 Canadian Championship. Under the management of Martin Nash, they performed poorly in the CPL, finishing eighth in the 2025 campaign and missing out on the playoff places.
They now face a Cruz Azul side that are the surprise reigning champions of the tournament, having won the event in their 19th qualification last year. They finished third in Liga MX last season and reached the final phase semi-finals.
Cruz Azul will head north in freezing conditions aware that it may be a bit tougher than it should be on paper but it is a massive mis-match and they are firm favourites for this one.
