Valerenga vs St. Polten prediction

Stine Brekken's first-half goal gave Valerenga a vital win away to Roma last week, in what was their first ever victory in either the group stage or league phase of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Having concluded their Norwegian league campaign with a second-placed finish in the Toppserien over the weekend, they can now divert most of their attention to their quest to make it to the knockout rounds of Europe's premier club competition.

St. Polten are one of just three sides who are yet to register a point in the league phase, although it's fair to say they have contested some tough fixtures so far, having faced Atletico Madrid and Chelsea at home - both 0-6 defeats - either side of a 3-0 loss to eight-time champions OL Lyonnes in France.

The Austrian champions will view this fixture as a more realistic one to get points from, but Valerenga simply look the more confident side right now and we're expecting them to make it back-to-back wins in the league phase, likely without conceding.

Valerenga vs St. Polten tip: Valerenga to win to nil
