In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa League second qualifying round tie last week, Dutch side Utrecht defeated Sheriff Tiraspol by three goals to one at Stadionul Orasenesc in Tiraspol in Transnistria, Moldova. Sheriff actually took a 24th minute lead via Peter Ademo before the Dutch side turned the game on its head thanks to goals from Victor Jensen, Nick Viergever and Adrian Blake.
Utrecht will believe they have a very good chance of making the league phase of the UEFA Europa League this season after Sheriff missed out on the Moldovan league title last season, despite going through the campaign unbeaten.
Sheriff have proven that they can certainly be a threat in attack, so it might be a fun watch for the neutral this week but Utrecht remain firm favourites for this one.
