Utrecht vs Genk prediction

Having qualified for the league phase of the UEFA Europa League, FC Utrecht have done very well already. However, they have struggled in the actual league phase, having collected just one point from their six matches. They were beaten 2-1 by Volendam at the weekend as they sit firmly in the middle of the Eredivisie table.

They now face a Genk side that have managed three victories with a draw and two defeats in their six games thus far. The Belgians have been inconsistent of late, though, as they sit in the bottom-half of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League table, losing 2-1 to Zulte-Waregem in their most recent outing at the weekend.

Genk are a team that are far too inconsistent but they also face what is a poor Utrecht side for this level and so a low-scoring encounter is to be expected for this one.

Utrecht vs Genk tip: Under 2.5 goals
