However, they have started this tournament with a 5-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago and then a slender 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia.
Haiti have collected just one point from their opening two matches, but they still have a chance of finishing in the top two and qualifying for the knockouts. They were beaten 1-0 by Saudi Arabia in their opener before their ten-men were denied all three points by the Trinidadians the other day.
